Currently we are actively seeking a Financial Controller to play a crucial role in our company, tasked with overseeing critical financial operations. The position demands attention to detail in planning, controlling, optimizing, and analyzing costs to ensure the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities include supervising the meticulous preparation of financial reports, expertly managing budgets, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and accounting standards.

Moreover, the Financial Controller will offer strategic financial analysis to support managerial decision-making.

As a Financial Controller you will:

• Prepare, update, analyze, and report on cost models, including periodic cost reports for other departments and cost calculations/simulations

• Actively participate in the budgeting process, including cost control, forecasting and deviation analysis

• Collaborate with C-level executives and other departments to review budgets and support organizational processes, such as IP BOX settlement and other tax breaks

• Prepare and support the preparation of monthly reports and financial analyses for the Supervisory Board and participate in the monthly closing process

• Prepare, coordinate, and finalize annual statutory reporting and external audits

• Develop, implement, and document business processes and billing procedures to maintain and strengthen internal control

• Identify opportunities regarding robotics and process automation

• Continuously improve processes across the organization

You are the right candidate if you have:

• Knowledge of financial and management accounting regulations

• At least 3-4 years of professional experience in the field of financial analysis/controlling

• Experience in a similar position (preferably in the IT industry)

• Master of Google Workspace / Office (mainly Google Sheets / Excel)

• Strong understanding of controlling/financial steering best practices, e.g. in KPI selection, cash flow management, and reporting

• Experience in creating reports for top management purposes

• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

• Practical knowledge of the legal and tax aspects of running a limited liability company or economic activity (or the ability to check/search for the necessary information)

• Experience working with PowerBI or Google Data Studio will be an additional asset

• Experience with tax breaks (IP BOX, B+R, etc.)

• Fluent in Polish

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (min. B2 level)

• Ability to show up at the office 1-2 times a month
